1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using GrailFinder, including GrailFinder Price Compare and GrailFinder TCG, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you subscribe, our Subscription Terms also apply.

2. Who we are

GrailFinder is operated by GRAILFINDER PTY LTD (ACN 701 721 842, ABN 14 701 721 842), a company registered in Australia (“GrailFinder”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

3. Price Compare

GrailFinder Price Compare is a price comparison and deal-finding tool for trading card game and sports card products sold by stores in Australia and New Zealand. We gather publicly available pricing and stock information from store websites and show it in one place so you can compare options.

GrailFinder is not a retailer. We do not sell, ship or fulfil any of the products shown, and we are not a party to any purchase between you and a store. Every purchase happens directly with the store you choose, under that store's own prices, terms and policies.

4. Pricing & data accuracy

Prices, stock levels and product details are collected from store websites periodically and may not match what the store shows at the moment you look. Stores can change prices, sell out or remove products at any time between our updates.

Always confirm the price, stock and product details on the store's own website before you buy. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss arising from relying on information shown on GrailFinder instead of the store's own listing.

5. GrailFinder TCG

GrailFinder TCG is an original online trading card game played on this website. It is in early access: features, cards, rules, balance, rewards and prices in the game will change as it develops, and some features may be available only to invited players.

We may need to rebalance cards, correct errors, reset or adjust game progress, or end a ranked season early, for example to fix a bug or an exploit. We will try to keep changes fair to players and to explain significant ones.

GrailFinder TCG is not gambling. Packs and rewards contain virtual cards only, and nothing in the game can be exchanged for money.

6. Cards, currency & virtual items

Cards (including limited print cards and their serial numbers), Scrip, Echoes, packs, ranks and other in-game items are “virtual items”. When you earn or receive a virtual item, we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it within GrailFinder TCG. Virtual items:

• are not your property and have no value outside the game;
• cannot be sold, traded, transferred or exchanged for money or anything else outside the game;
• are not refundable, except where the law requires it; and
• may be changed, rebalanced or removed as the game develops, and are lost if your account is deleted or closed.

Selling or buying GrailFinder accounts or virtual items for real money is not allowed.

7. Fair play & PvP

When you play against other people, including in Ranked matches, you agree to play fairly. You must not:

• use bots, scripts, modified clients or any tool that plays for you or gives you an unfair advantage;
• exploit bugs or errors instead of reporting them to us;
• arrange results, deliberately lose, or use more than one account to raise or lower a rating; or
• harass, abuse or threaten other players.

Ranked ratings, records and season ranks are shown as part of the game. If we find unfair play, we may reverse results, reset ratings, remove rewards, or suspend or close the accounts involved.

8. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and if you are under 18 you should have a parent or guardian's permission. One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away at info.grailfindertcg@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

9. No affiliation & third-party trade marks

GrailFinder is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any store listed on this site, or by any trading card game publisher or sports card brand referenced here, including (but not limited to) Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering / Wizards of the Coast, Yu-Gi-Oh! / Konami, One Piece, Riftbound / Riot Games, Digimon, Panini, Topps and Leaf.

Product names, logos, brands and trade marks shown in Price Compare belong to their owners and are used only to identify and compare products. GrailFinder TCG is an original game and is not based on, or connected with, any of those products.

10. Third-party links

GrailFinder links to stores, eBay and 130point so you can view a listing or make a purchase. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security or business practices. If we enter affiliate or referral arrangements with a linked store or service, we will say so clearly on the relevant pages.

11. YouTube content

Some product pages show review videos through the YouTube Data API Service. Those videos belong to their creators and/or YouTube. By using this feature you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

12. Our intellectual property

GRAILFINDER and the Grail Mark logo are trade marks of GRAILFINDER PTY LTD (Australian trade mark application 2692298). The GrailFinder website, its design and code, and GrailFinder TCG, including its cards, card artwork, characters, Heroes, lore, names, rules and game content, are owned by GRAILFINDER PTY LTD or used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from them, or use our trade marks, without our written permission, except as the law allows.

You are welcome to share screenshots and videos of your own gameplay for non-commercial purposes, provided you do not suggest that we endorse you.

Product images, titles and descriptions in Price Compare belong to the relevant stores or rights holders and are shown for comparison.

13. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse GrailFinder. This includes (without limitation): trying to disrupt or overload the site or game servers; trying to access accounts, data or systems you are not allowed to; scraping or systematically collecting data from GrailFinder without our permission; reverse engineering the game; or using the site for any unlawful purpose. We may restrict or suspend access for anyone who breaches these terms.

14. Paid subscription

GrailFinder offers an optional paid subscription (currently $2.99/month or $26.99/year AUD). It adds price and restock alerts to Price Compare and extra benefits in GrailFinder TCG, such as monthly in-game currency and packs and more Catalog slots. Searching, the watchlist, saved searches and playing GrailFinder TCG are free. Prices are shown and charged in Australian dollars.

Payments are processed by Stripe, and billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are covered in our Subscription Terms. In short: it renews automatically until you cancel, you can cancel any time from your account page, and you keep paid access until the end of the period you have paid for. In-game benefits already received are virtual items (section 6).

15. Consumer law, warranties & liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law and, for consumers in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.

Apart from those guarantees, GrailFinder is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that the site or the game will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, GRAILFINDER PTY LTD is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of GrailFinder, including loss connected with a purchase from a store or the loss of virtual items. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as GrailFinder changes, and we will change the “Last updated” date above when we do. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site or tell you by email. Continuing to use GrailFinder after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction. This does not remove any right you have to rely on the consumer laws of the place where you live.
