1. Overview
GrailFinder ("GrailFinder", "we", "us", or "our") is a price comparison service for trading card game and sports card products across Australian retailers. This policy explains what information we collect when you use grailfindertcg.com (or wherever this site is hosted), how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect
GrailFinder does not currently require you to create an account or provide any personal information to search, browse, or compare prices. The core service — searching for sealed product and singles across Australian retailers — works without you giving us any personal data.
Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics tools we use may automatically collect standard technical information when you visit, such as:
- IP address and approximate location (country/region level)
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited, referring page, and time spent on the site
This information is used only to operate, secure, and improve the site (for example, understanding which searches are popular, or diagnosing errors) and is not used to identify you personally.
3. YouTube content
Product pages may display TCG review videos sourced via the YouTube Data API Service. By using this feature of GrailFinder, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's own privacy practices, which govern how YouTube handles data related to displaying this content, are described in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not require you to sign in with a Google account to view this content, and we do not access your YouTube account or personal viewing data through this feature.
6. Accounts (coming soon)
We plan to introduce optional user accounts in the future, to support features like watchlists, saved searches, and price alerts. If and when this launches, it will involve collecting information such as your email address, and this policy will be updated in advance to explain exactly what is collected, why, and how you can request its deletion. Nothing in this section applies until that feature is live and clearly announced.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect any information handled by GrailFinder from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we aim to keep our systems and any future account data reasonably and appropriately protected.
8. Children's privacy
GrailFinder is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your rights
We aim to handle information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If we hold any personal information about you (for example, once accounts launch), you can contact us to ask what we hold, request a correction, or ask for it to be deleted, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain certain records.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the service changes — for example, when accounts or new integrations launch. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Significant changes affecting how your information is handled will be highlighted more prominently.
